Worn tires or tires not suitable for New Zealand roads

Tires that are not suitable for New Zealand roads are typically those that do not meet the legal requirements set out by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). These requirements include minimum tread depth, proper inflation, and suitable materials for the road surface and climate conditions.

Driving on worn or unsuitable tires can be dangerous and increase the risk of accidents, particularly in wet or slippery conditions. It can also result in fines and penalties from law enforcement authorities. Therefore, it is important to regularly inspect your tires and replace them when necessary to ensure safe driving on New Zealand roads.

We can help you purchase new tires from our partners at very competitive rates and fit them for you. Alternatively, could recommend or replace with suitable second hand tires.
